Delhi University would release it's 3rd cut-off 2020 by tomorrow evening for students admission.The varsity would then release the compiled third cut off list for admissions to various undergraduate courses. With as many as 70 per cent seats in top colleges’ top courses gone, there is a little hope for many students of getting admission in DU 3rd cut off list 2020.
Admissions on the basis of Second Cut off list would complete by today. Students were required to make the applications by October 21 and the fee payment would close at 5 pm today. The exact number of seats available with various colleges would then be ascertained and the third cut off list prepared by individual colleges. Based on numbers shared by colleges till October 21.
Top Courses like Political Science and BA Programme have been picked by students in various colleges. Miranda House has reported that the college has already approved 787 admissions against the available 1100 seats. “We have very few seats left in our English and BA programme courses. There may be some withdrawals as students also look at their entrance test results and then withdraw,” shared Bijaylaxmi Nanda, Principal, Miranda House.
Even though many colleges saw a large number of withdrawals, the response for second cut off has more than offset the same. Sri Venkateshwara College principal, Venkat Kumar stated that the college has already exceeded the number of admissions. Ramjas College reported a similar trend.
As per the official figures shared by Delhi University, a total of 62,172 students have applied under the 2nd cut off. 7546 applications have been approved and the fee of 15,698 students has been processed.
